My Process

I don’t work with any couples without an initial discovery call to confirm that we’re the right fit for each other! Music is deeply personal and I want to be certain that I can stay true to my values while providing the service you are hoping for. On our discovery call, I am always happy to put forth my recommendation for what options make the most sense for your celebration after hearing more about all of your goals for the entertainment at your event.

Basic Pricing Guideline

As a solo operator, I can only be in so many places at once. I intentionally don’t take on as many events as possible so that I can give each and every couple the attention they deserve!

Most couples invest between $5,000 - $7,500, although I’m always happy to put together a custom quote including everything you need and nothing you don’t.

My commitment to couples who hire me starts with what I’ve found to be necessary for the once in a lifetime party you’re planning. Our most ‘basic’ package delivers an elevated experience with everything a couple prioritizing their entertainment needs.

  • Elite event Hosting Engaging emceeing & announcements to ensure perfect flow

  • Modern Mixing // Collaborative Set Planning Use our app to prep music for the big day including must plays, do not plays, key songs, and everything in between.

  • No Hidden Fees There are credit card fees, but we take care of those. The price you see is your final cost, no exceptions.

Let’s Go Bigger — $7,500

To take your event to the next level, I recommend adding an experience, an enhancement, and some atmosphere. I want you to pick which options are most exciting and reflective of the party you want to throw so I offer the following, choose one from each category for this package.

The Experience(s) Something to truly entertain your guests

  • High Energy Live Sax Duo — Benny Nord & Ben Cline put on a one-of-a-kind show during your dance to blend the ‘happening in front of you’ power of live music, with the range of a talented DJ.

  • Photo Booth — High quality DSLR camera photo booth lets guests capture moments throughout the day and put them in your gallery. Give your guests something to do when they’re not dancing!

The Enhancement(s) Take moments and make them magical

  • CO2 Cannon — Fire a blast of CO2 during peak energy moments into the crowd. We put the CO2 in your hands! Creates an epic moment & photo op to hype up your crowd.

  • Fog Geysers — Longer lasting vertical bursts of fog that elevate drops and add some atmosphere for the lights to reflect off!

  • Additional Live Music Options — Add a live pianist to your ceremony, acoustic guitarist & vocalist for cocktail hour, or a whole slate of additional options.

The Atmosphere

  • Disco Ball — Timeless, classic look to bring your best disco vibes to life. (Includes lighting necessary to make it really pop)

  • Additional Uplighting — While my basic package includes 8 uplights to illuminate the booth and dance floor area, triple your uplighting to really add some ambiance to your venue. Static look during dinner will switch to dance ready lighting after your first dances are complete.

  • Unique Tube Lighting Install — I use elegant tube lights to provide unique static looks. Check in with me about your venue to hear how we can incorporate this modern lighting option!

FAQs

  • Yes! I’m happy to work with couples to help save them money if they have lodging options available for me.

    I charge the standard IRS rate for mileage for anything beyond 50 miles from the Twin Cities.

    For anything outside the Midwest, please contact me directly for pricing.

    Destination events are quoted based on specific location and availability/costs incurred to rent equipment.

  • GREAT question. I am a bit of a gear freak so it truly depends on the event I’m doing. I never upcharge to bring the right gear to get the job done. If you’re wanting to get into the nitty gritty of mics, speakers, cabling, and more, I’m happy to talk through a production game plan you feel good about.
